Barbicides (our story):

The roots of the Barbicide® brand date back to 1947. Then chemistry professor Maurice King, from New York, experimented with new solutions for disinfection. The blue color, characteristic of the Barbicide® brand, has been known for more than half a century in hairdressing and hairdressing salons around the world.

Maurice King did everything to raise the standard of hygiene. Its successful formula from transparent glass and stainless steel containers has since easily removed bacteria and microbes from combs, scissors and all the tools in the salon.

If most disinfectants are colorless, the Barbicide® brand has always kept its bright blue color. Many stylists and hairdressers use the blue symbol to their advantage when they keep their instruments in front of customers in Barbicide® containers.

Barbicide® blue is the symbol of hygiene in beauty salons.

The container with the blue disinfectant solution is also on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington.

In 1988, Ben King took over the management of the concern from his father and permanently developed the Barbicide® product range. Today, King Research / Blueco Brands are headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.

Description:

The concentrated liquid disinfectant provided by the brand BARBICIDE, helps to remove the most harmful bacteria and residues formed on utensils in specialized work areas (curlers, combs, scissors) forming a protective barrier and thoroughly cleaning the tools used.

Ingredient:

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE / 100g:

Propan-2-ol 13 g, CAS 67-63-0 (EC-No: 200-661-7) Quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-16-alkydimethyl, 5.1g chlorides CAS 68424-85-1 (Eg -No: 270-325-2)

Way of usage:

Clean the utensils and put them in the BARBICIDE disinfectant solution for at least 10 minutes. DO NOT LEAVE THE UTENSILS OVERNIGHT IN THE BARBICIDE SOLUTION. After a maximum of 30 minutes, remove the utensils and rinse them with water. The solution is changed twice a week, or when it is cloudy. .Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
