The Atohm GT3-HD speaker is a 3-way model equipped with home speakers, developed specifically by the French manufacturer. This bass-reflex speaker shines with its musicality and is distinguished by its adjustable frequency response.Atohm has put all its know-how to work on the Atohm GT3-HD speaker. Cabinetmaking, passive crossover and loudspeakers have been created to interact optimally together. The goal: to offer an exceptional restitution, both in musical listening and cinema.Atohm GT enclosure cabinetmaking involves thick MDF and non-parallel walls, to eliminate standing waves and reduce the vibratory potential of the enclosure. Each loudspeaker has been designed in a similar way, the tweeter being equipped with a rear damping chamber. Its silk dome ensures a soft and fine restitution, while its neodymium magnets allow a very high transient regime. The bass and bass-midrange speakers have been the subject of much research, to optimize membrane-suspension coupling and finely control the movements of the coil. The passive filter uses soft slopes (with few components) to preserve the integrity of the audio signal. The base of the enclosure can be filled with sand to make it even more inert.Atohm has equipped the GT3-HD speaker with a sensitivity setting of its tweeter and midrange speaker. The user can thus listen to the loudspeaker with an optimal linearity adjustment, with an extra high frequency (+3 dB beyond 500 Hz and / or 2.5 kHz) or with a deficit (-2 dB). In total, 9 combinations are possible.The Atohm GT3-HD speaker responds in frequency from 35 Hz to 30 kHz, thanks to its bass-reflex charge. Its high sensitivity ensures lively listening with most amplifiers, even low power. It will be combined with the Atohm SW2-HD subwoofer and in a home theater configuration at the Atohm GT Center.
