Description Steve is an average guy, who is looking for balance in his attempts at living a solid Christian life.
It helped him maintain a Christian perspective - despite the mundane, the ridiculous, and the absolutely fantastic..
Finally it reestablished something foundational, that Jason was lacking and desperately needing.
It also reconciled painful moments caused by the imperfections imbedded in everyone.
Once he became aware, he was less and less distracted and started enjoying life - with God.
The relationship shed light on the daily struggles we all face, in trying to live decent lives in a fallen world.
On an everyday basis, he struggled to understand the obvious yet immovable system failures which just seemed to perpetuate.
Jason finally found God, by reversing the removal of Him from everything that gives life meaning.
He found it mesmerizing to navigate through the division and separation which pits neighbor against neighbor...in a system of zero accountability...all while idolizing prosperity...
Having had his stints in Corporate America, he grew weary of the "every man for himself" attitude now pervasive in the business culture.
Where the culture was once guided by Truth, it now seemed to have no Scriptural guide at all.
However, it would be many years later before he clearly understood the implications of the sacrifices of his Savior.
As an adult, he found disappointment with the deletion of the foundational pillars of society.
America was a place to behold, and though not perfect, it certainly was a place to live a dream.
He wasn\'t a slave to the legalism of the day, and understood that in some way he had a relationship with a Christian God.
Yet, no matter what the next ten year cycle would bring, America was still recognizable.
Raised mainly in Massachusetts, and other parts of the Northeast, he was an active kid who enjoyed the traditional values of his proud culture.
He survived both the austerity measures of a recession, and the decadence of a yuppy decade.
Is some outside force also now acting on him? What could it be? Why now? About the Author Jason grew up in the United States as a child of the 1970s and 1980s.
But he\'s hanging on his hope, and on God\'s grace.
Steve stays in prayer, not quite sure what it all means.
Becoming grounded in scripture, he continually reminds himself that God has a plan for him.
Coupled with a new awareness of something supernatural, he becomes more of a mishandled ragdoll with each passing moment.
But, is there a new leader emerging? Are there also new antagonists? As if the current forces crashing in on him weren\'t enough, he finds a thoroughfare to the past, so he can reprocess experiences all over again.
Recently there has been a workplace merger, and he finds himself now further agitated by new situational ironies.
But he has no choice but to just roll up his sleeves.
More often than not, he finds himself working late, and it stresses the foundational relationships in his life.
The senior leader of his division, is an odd man who constantly tests Steve\'s sanity, and his work/life balance.
His son, love interests, and some good friends, all serve as welcomed distractions.
Where he has attained the respect of his superior, he lacks passion for his work, and sometimes finds himself happily anonymized.
The mundanity of the daily slog, high taxes, and broken politics constantly weigh on him.
Developing in his walk with God, he knows he has work to do, while he awaits the coming of a brighter eternity.
This serves as a metaphor for his life in general, as he tries to live in a broken world without being consumed by it.
Analytical by nature, he spends an abundance of time dissecting situations while trying to live through them.
The pace of change, inconsistencies in the system, and other frustrations challenge him on a daily basis.
He\'s adulting in a place where he attended school, and lately his surroundings have become unrecognizable to him.
