Instead of swinging and sliding, she preferred to explore hundred-acre woods, unlock secret gardens, and walk two moons. She has been passionate about the science of reading and helping kids learn to read ever since. She has worked as a reading tutor, first grade teacher, and kindergarten teacher since 2010.
