Sarah received her BFA in graphic design from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, where she grew up. She spent several years working as an in-house designer and illustrator for Hallmark before branching out on her own and joining Lilla Rogers Studio, which currently represents her. Sarah is the author/illustrator of three Just Add Color titles from Rockport Publishers, Circus , Carnival , and Day of the Dead ; Quarry Books\' 100 Things to Draw With a Circle and 100 Things to Draw With a Triangle; and Walter Foster Publishing\'s Playful Painting: People .
