Seventy years after the outbreak of the Second World War, this book listens to some of the people who were young during the conflict share their memories, both sad and funny, of what it was like to eat for Victory. About author(s): Katherine Knight trained as a teacher of home economics before marrying and bringing up her four children. She ran a poetry writing club at the City Lit, Holborn for many years and is author of "How Shakespeare Cleaned His Teeth.""
