She is a graduate of Sheridan College\'s Bachelor of Illustration program, and is the illustrator of Deborah Kerbel\'s Graphic Novel Fred & Marjorie: A Doctor, a Dog, and the Discovery of Insulin.

She draws upon her cultural heritage, immigrant sensibilities, as well as her background in science and love of nature when she writes.
Teresa lives with her scientist-professor husband, younger son, and a motley crew of chickens on their 27-acre mini homestead.
