A Brief History of Criminal Profiling is the third book in the series Student Guides Simplified.
As with all Student Guides Simplified books it is entertaining and very readable with everything explained in a simple manner so the reader doesn\'t feel drowned by complicated theories.

It then deals with the development of profiling which begun in 1486 with the publication of Malleus Maleficarum, a diatribe on how to identify witches.
