One thought used to consume my mind: "Why am I so Terrible at thriving in my role as a mom?" I would constantly beat myself up with accusations about inadequacy, lack of joy, comparisons, longing to do something else, feeling ineffective in life, screwing up my kids...so many accusations and thoughts.
I wrote that journey down because I believe this same freedom is available for every mom who struggles..
That one simple act put a hole in the dam that had been holding back my freedom in Motherhood for so many years.
All of that began to change when a wise woman gave me what I thought was a harmless challenge: Spend some time focusing on intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
