The Ved nta-s tra, which is well known among scholars by the following additional names: (1) Brahma-s tra, (2) r raka, (3) Vy sa-s tra, (4) B dar ya a-s tra, (5) Uttara-m m s and (6) Ved nta-dar ana.
The philosophy of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, which amalgamated the views of all the previous Acaryas in His thesis of Acintya-bhedabheda Tattva, is explicitly explained by Sri Baladeva Vidyabhusana in his Govinda Bhasya of the Vedanta-sutra.
From then, it became the Commentary on Brahma-s tra for the Gau ya Samprad ya.
However, no one in Gau ya Samprad ya has written a Commentary on Ved nta-s tra, until sometimes back, in Jaipur, the Gau yas were challenged that "The Gau ya Samprad ya has no Commentary on the Ved nta-s tra." So Baladeva Vidy bh ana, With the order of Govindaji at Jaipur, he wrote the Commentary on Brahma-s tra, which is called Govinda-Bh ya.
All the authorized and established samprad yas have their own Commentary on Ved nta-s tra.
