It features a paper-sandwich cone with very high stiffness and relative low weight. The motor system has heavy duty copper sleeves for optimizing eddy currents and minimizing self-induction. Suggested Box Alignments:1.5 cubic feet sealed box for 3dB down of 48Hz and 6dB down of 32Hz3.0 cubic feet with 3 vent by 13 long for 3dB down of about 22Hz2.75 cubic feet with 3 vent by 15 long for f3 of 23Hz2.5 cubic feet wtih 3 vent by 17 long for f3 of 25HzThe sealed box used with a plate amplifier with bass boost might be a nice little subwoofer. The port length on the vented boxes is pretty long. Be sure you leave at least 3 to the back wall, preferably more.
