Z, Holly: - About the AuthorHolly Z. is a writer, actress, and certified fitness trainer with roots in the southern United States and a heart shaped by decades of creative and compassionate work. Of Mediterranean descent, she began her journey in New York City, where she rented a single floor of a friend\'s apartment, slept on a futon, and built a life through sheer determination. While studying acting, she worked as a personal trainer for high-profile clients including Carly Simon, Princess Lee Radziwill, and executives at Lehman Brothers.Her acting career spans off-Broadway theater, independent films, and television appearances on As the World Turns and Sex and the City. After a decade in New York, Holly relocated to Los Angeles, where she expanded her work in film, television, and stage. She created, produced, and starred in an award-winning film about a veteran returning from Iraq-a performance that earned her a Best Actress award. Her credits also include Cineplex Studios\' web and TV series, numerous stage productions, and a national commercial with her beloved dog, Angel.A former amateur boxer and proud holder of the Mrs. Jersey City title in the late 1990s, Holly\'s experiences reflect her fierce spirit, discipline, and refusal to back down from any fight-whether in the ring or in life.In addition to her work in entertainment, Holly is a passionate fitness professional certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the Functional Aging Institute, and Zumba.
