Jason Bige Burnett graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in ceramics and BAs in both printmaking and Graphic design.
Jason currently lives and works as a full-time studio artist in Bakersville, NC..
His ceramics have been exhibited nationally, and hes been featured in publications such as Pottery Making Illustrated , Ceramics Monthly (Emerging Artist in 2013), American Craft Magazine , and regional magazines such as Carolina Home + Garden and WNC Magazine , in addition to being featured in the book 500 Prints on Clay (Lark Books).
He has taught many Ceramic surface design workshops at various locations including Baltimore Clayworks, MudFire, Odyssey Center for Ceramic Arts, and Santa Fe Clay.
He then continued his education for two years at the renowned Penland School of Crafts as a core fellowship student and spent a year as an Artist-In-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN.
