Terry Ann co-founded and coordinated the Ottawa Ka Do Haiku group for 10 years; she participated in the 2004 Basho Festival in Ueno, Japan.
In Vancouver\'s 2007 International Cherry Blossom Festival, she won Best Canadian Haiku.
She was the Random Acts of Poetry poet for the city of Ottawa (2005-2009), and Education Chair for the League of Canadian Poets.
