She was known as a miracle because of her inner strength despite the critical illnesses she lived with including epilepsy, Chiari malformation, and endometriosis.
Her parents, Andrew and Joan Bates, came from two different states and backgrounds yet, in unity, raised eight children, including a miracle they named LeNora.
