Serving in this manner has been so fulfilling as I have seen God working around the world.
My call to medical missions continued, as I have been a part of 47 short-term medical Mission outreaches mostly as team leader.
My original partners had all served in Rhodesia as Mission doctors.
I returned to the United States and began my nearly 30-year career in Emergency Medicine at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.
This eventually affected our ministry and led to an earlier than planned departure.
Unfortunately a war between the white, colonial government remnant after the British left and the black African population was heating up.
This was an amazing and memorable time in our lives.
Our daughters are Christine (Christy) age 2 and Julia who was 4 months.
After completion of my residency at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas, we moved to Mashoko Christian Hospital in Zimbabwe where I became medical superintendent.
