The experiences ultimately inspired her to write this book.
She continues to live in Athens, Georgia working with college-aged students through the University of Georgia Wesley Foundation, and she is a dog mom to her miniature schnauzer, Ducky..
Teaching helped her learn more about how she could use her teaching gift along with her faith and knowledge of Mental Health to help those around her.
While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she was able to student teach at Jefferson Middle School and several other schools at the K-12 level.
She desires reconciliation for those who have been hurt by the church due to the stigmas that surround Mental health.
She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor\'s degree in special education.
